Arctic Circle and Northern Lights Tour from Fairbanks


Travel along one of the world’s most isolated roads from Fairbanks to the Arctic Circle on this memorable 12 to 14-hour tour through the Alaskan wilderness. In the company of an experienced guide with a passion for Alaska, journey up the Dalton Highway, passing by the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, crossing the Yukon River, and reaching the edge of the Arctic Circle. On the drive back, watch for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). This tour is limited to 9 guests to ensure that you enjoy a small-group experience in one of our climate-controlled vans. Please note that we cannot guarantee the Northern Lights sightings and we can't guarantee last minute bookings. We do encourage each guest to rotate seats at least a few times on this tour.

Experience an unforgettable train ride on Norway’s northernmost railway, the Ofoten Line, stretching 43 km from Narvik to Bjørnfjell on the Swedish border. Originally built in the late 19th century to transport iron ore from Kiruna’s mines to Narvik’s ice-free port, this railway played a crucial role during World War II, particularly in the Battle of Narvik. Today, the Ofoten Line is both a vital transport route and a breathtaking tourist attraction. Join us on the Arctic Train and immerse yourself in a scenic and historic adventure! Travel through majestic Arctic landscapes, crossing tunnels, bridges, and steep inclines with panoramic views of fjords, mountains, and waterfalls. Your onboard guide will share historical insights as you journey toward Bjørnfjell, where a short stop allows you to take in the surroundings before returning to Narvik.

We will cross the arctic circle line where you can take some photos and videos. The ground tour can take place in a 26 passenger coach or 15 passenger van depending on the number of guests we have. Longest time between stops is 2 hours; however, some stops will be closer.
