Fikardos Winery is a well-known, family-owned winery established in 1990 producing quality wines that reveal Cyprus' true character. Located in Mesogi, Paphos, it is a 10-minute drive from the city center, or a 30-minute bus ride. At Fikardos Winery, a member of the family will guide you through our facilities, where you will learn about our history, our vineyards, and our winemaking process. During the tour, you will be provided with insights and knowledge about the different stages of winemaking, from grape harvesting and fermentation to bottling and aging. Tastings will take place in the cellar door or in the barrel room. We will guide you through the tasting, describing the unique characteristics of each wine. Most of our wines are available for tasting, including some of our premium limited edition and experiment wines made from indigenous and international varieties. A complimentary platter of various cheeses, Cypriot olives, salty crackers, and local meats is included.

We begin our day with a stop at a pottery workshop in Yeroskipou village, where we will see how the potters continue the traditional craft and if you are lucky you might even try your hand at the wheel. Our next stop is at the village square where we will see the unique 5-domed church of St Paraskevi. We will also have a chance to see how the ‘loukoumia’ (Turkish delights) are made. Our next stop is Letymbou village , where we will visit Sophia’s traditional house – original furniture and décor as well as traditional costumes. You will learn how she bakes village bread in the clay oven and makes other local delicacies such as the traditional halloumi cheese. Afterwards we will have a brunch –a special Cypriot breakfast, prepared by Sophia with village style bread and coffee or tea. Next, Saint Neophytos monastery, the “Enkleistra”, an enclosure which was carved out of the mountain in the 12th century by the hermit Neophytos and contains some of the finest Byzantine frescoes.

Travel by jeep to the Troodos mountains, with the opportunity to see the beauty of the wild nature of Cyprus and visit the main shrine of the island-the monastery of Kykkos. On the way to Troodos, we will visit the second largest dam in Cyprus – Asprokremos, and also, one of the four bridges of the Venetian era – Chelefos. We will taste the wines, and visit beautiful waterfall Chantara and on the way back, we will make a stop for bathing at the "stone of Aphrodite" where, according to legend, the goddess of love and beauty was born and went ashore.

Visit the central slopes of the Troodos mountains, which is a must on any visit to Cyprus. The tour takes us off the beaten track with our 4×4 Land Rover defenders. Stops are made in quaint picturesque rural villages to meet the locals and get to know more about Cyprus and it's culture, history and traditions. Breath taking mountain peaks are encountered throughout the duration of the day, cascading waterfalls, where weather permitting, guest can enjoy a refreshing splash in the crystal clear waters, fresh water lakes in the middle of nowhere. This tour takes you to the stunning Troodos Mountains, the highest range in Cyprus, offering fresh air and breathtaking views. We'll visit the Venetian Bridge near Tzelefos, a 16th-century stone bridge from the Venetian era, perfect for photos and enjoying the peaceful river below. On our way, we'll stop at a local winery to taste various wines, including the famous Zivania and Commandaria. Next, at the Northwest observation point, you’ll take in majestic views of the Troodos slopes stretching to Morphou Bay. We'll also visit Milomeris Waterfall, one of Cyprus' most beautiful waterfalls, surrounded by lush greenery and wildflowers. You can take a dip in the natural pool or relax in the serene surroundings. Our final stop is Omodos, a charming mountain village known for winemaking and fruit orchards. On this trip, we have prepared a cocktail of impressions for you. In one day, we will see and try all the most interesting and delicious things in Cyprus. We will visit the village of artists, Lania. This is one of the most picturesque villages in Cyprus. There are several free museums in Lania. We will also visit the famous Roses Factory in the village of Agros. There we will get acquainted with all kinds of products from damask rose petals. Then we will visit the local Smokehouse and traditional Jam House, where residents make delicious smoked meats, as well as unique jams from a variety of vegetables and fruits and it’s worth a try! After a short stop and rest, we will visit Foini village, where the small family production unit of loukoumi "Ourania Delights". There you can taste loukoumi which is made based on the authentic recipe of 1930. We will also drop into the local winery for a tasting of Cyprus wines and other strong drinks.
