Fushimi Inari Hidden Hiking Tour
-Hike through a secret path into Fushimi Inari Shrine.
Even though there is Fushi-inari station, we start the tour from Tofukuji station because we enter Fushi-inari shrine from back side of main entrance.
-Journey into a secret bamboo forest
We will discover a natural bamboo forest, and a small Inari shrine hidden from tourists. Fushimi Inari's main entrance is hard to navigate due to a lot of people, but by walking through the mountains, we will see Fushimi Inari from a new perspective, away from the crowd.
-Return to civilization after a breathtaking view atop the mountains of Fushimi Inari
From here on, we will explore tourist areas on the way to the top of the mountain. Tour routes may vary, but it will end somewhere around the main shrine.

We are Kyoto ECO Trip, a rental bicycle company based in the heart of Kyoto and our aim is to raise awareness of the brilliance of riding a bicycle in the beautiful Kyoto. The type of bicycle we use on this tour is an Electric Pedal-Asist bike with a basket in front. Pedal-assist e-bikes help you padal more smoothly and easily, and they work much like conventional bikes and should be easy to ride for those who are used to cycling.
First, you get to exlpore the famous thousands of the torii gates in Fushimi Inari Shrine. Next, the popular gion area and the beautiful Nanzen-ji Temple are also our stop. There are a few of the popular spots you make a quick stop during our stop such as Sanjusangendo Templeand the Heian-Jingu Shirne.

This is the original Fushimi hidden route tour.
This is a 3-hour 30-minute hiking lead by locals. Soba noodle Lunch is included. You will experience the holy mountain of Fushimi through an alternative off-beaten path.
This experience includes:
1) Sightseeing of the main shrine and thousands of red gates, with an explanation of their history and cultural background.
2) Easy walking through a peaceful bamboo and cedar tree forest path, visiting authentic holy spots (worship stones & waterfall) and a factory.
3) Going up a forest route to the summit shrine (20 min). The summit is 233m high, and I will show you around the shrine.
4) Photo-shooting part. On the way down, I will show you lots of photogenic spots that are usually less crowded.
5) Snack & drink, and the breathtaking panorama view of Kyoto city from the viewpoint.
6) Lunch at the best soba restaurant. Vegan options are available but tell us IN ADVANCE.
