Sled Dog Adventure and Pan for Gold in the Yukon
Start in town or at your ship on this 4.5 hour adventure. Board our 15 to 25 passenger mini coach to explore the White Pass elevation 3292 feet all the way to the Yukon. With stops to get out and see amazing Waterfalls up to 3000 feet tall, Azure Glaciers, Alpine Valleys, Snow Capped Mountains and huge Mountain Lakes. Your Guide will tell you gold rush stories, lots of history, and information about the Plants and animals in this wild and beautiful land. This is your best chance for wild life viewing in Skagway. The Sled Dog Adventure takes place in a remote portion of Canada. Play with the puppies while learning what a mushers life is all about. On this 20 minute ride you will be amazed by the dogs power, grace and love for running as you fly up and down through this alpine wilderness. Enjoy the experience of panning for REAL gold and the thrill of finding those little shiny gold pieces.

Historic Gold Panning Adventure & Salmon Bake
Spend your day in Juneau port panning for gold and indulging in a fresh Alaskan salmon bake. After a brief city tour of Juneau, make your way with a guide up to Gold Creek and Last Chance Basin for an adventure in gold panning. When you’ve built up an appetite, head to a traditional all-you-can-eat salmon bake. Take a short stroll along a natural salmon-spawning creek to the entrance of the Wagner Mine at beautiful Salmon Creek Falls where you can pan for gold, see mining relics, and look for salmon. Have fun roasting marshmallows over a campfire and feel free to take photos at our interactive, gold rush mural. You’re also encouraged to visit the Trading Post to purchase a souvenir and other mementos.
Historic Gold Mining and Panning Adventure
While you’re in port in Juneau, venture to Gold Creek and Last Chance Basin for a true Alaskan gold adventure! Hear about the historic Alaskan Gold Rush and learn how to pan for gold – you’ll keep all the gold you find! Your guide, dressed in traditional 19th-century attire, will take you to a secluded location along Gold Creek, only accessible with a special permit, and show you what it was like during the Gold Rush for the thousands who flocked to the region.
