We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). While the hike is regarded as easier than Table Mountain, it still involves steep rocky and narrow terrain at certain points from about half up way and a section where the use of steel handles and chains need to be used to get up 2 pitches of about 3 meters each (only up and not down). Quite adventurous indeed. This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky.

Lion's Head can be reached within fifteen minutes from the city and the summit can be reached within an hour. This is a super fun afternoon and night activity that's a little different than anything offered on the islands. We will start will a fantastic spot to watch the sunset. We have a few places to choose from. You might not always get the sun dipping into the ocean, But the location will be unique. After the sun sets, we will head to a very dark location where we can start having some fun. Your guide will show you how to light paint. If you have no idea what this is, even better. You will be able to create art at night with our tools. We recommend bringing a camera that can adjust the settings for long exposures. If you don't, your guide will take some photos with their cameras and email a link after the tour. From beginning of September to April the chances of seeing the Northern Lights in Northern Norway are great. The weather (cloud cover) and the geomagnetic prognosis determine where the road takes us on the given day. We will take you where the chances of clear skies are the greatest and the best locations for seeing the Northern Lights. We go all in to find the Northern lights by checking 25+ different spots. Some nights we have a late return to Bodo (like 2 am). Last seasons we have had a hit rate around 80 %. Before the trip starts we will advice on how the chances to see the lights are. We head out from town in a comfortable Mercedes 7 seater van (4WD) with panoramic sunroof.

North Norway, Tromso is fortunate with unique natural phenomena, which can only be experienced in our region. People from all over the world come to Tromso to experience the magic Northern lights, Aurora Borealis in the fall and winter season. It's a Must do experience. The Northern lights are magical, but the Norwegian nature in Tromso also is. We will hunt for the northern lights, but also give you a taste of how to experience the wilderness in the dark. With a maximum of 5 guests (Tesla X ) and 4 (Tesla Y) , we will give you the best and personal experience. While driving to our destination, we tell you about the city, what we see around us, and stories from this area. We are super flexible regarding where we go and how long we stay there.
