Doi Inthanon National Park with Nature Trail Trekking 1-Day Tour
On this tour, you can cool off on Thailand's highest peak while taking in the beautiful scenic Doi Inthanon National Park. Nighttime temperatures on the peak can be as low as -8 degrees centigrade. In the cold/dry season, nighttime frosts are common. Daytime temperatures can be surprisingly cold so do not forget a long sleeve jumper. On the way up we will walk on the famous nature trail, Kew Mae Pan (November – May) or Pha Dok Siew (June – October) then visit Wachirithan Waterfalls, The King and Queen Chedi's, (the best views across the park are found here), and then on to the peak of Doi Inthanon the highest mountain in Thailand. Near the top, we will take the Angkha nature walk where you can walk among the unique flora and forests that grow at this altitude. There are both Karen and Hmong villages in the bounds of Doi Inthanon and we will see those at the local market on the way down the mountain before making our way back to Chiang Mai.

The Luminous Lagoon tour starts in the evening around 6:30 PM when it gets dark. Giving the nature of the excursion, it depends greatly on the lesser light to have its greatest effect. The darker the setting the more pronounce the glow of the water. The actual tour of the Luminous Lagoon is a ride on a boat out on the bay for around 10 minutes in shallow waters.

Experience our unique bus with extra large windows. This bus gives you the opportunity to see the Northern Lights on the way to our stops for this night. Some nights we have to drive to Finland (2 hours one way), and often it`s Northern Lights activity while we are driveing. Traffic and narrow roads without parking, can make it difficult to stop in time. Don't miss it.
