Our Whisky and Folklore tour is unlike any other experience in Edinburgh.  We take you to our personal, custom designed, whisky venue where you will be served four classic Single Malt Scotch Whiskies and immerse ourselves in the great cultural importance of whisky and storytelling in Scotland. The ticket price includes the cost of the whiskies (ONLY IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THE "NO WHISKY" OPTION. 4 great single malt Scotch whiskies will be served over the tour. This day trip from Edinburgh offers stunning views over the highlands and lochs of Scotland. This tour offers some stunning scenery and plenty of photo opportunities as we 'get away from civilisation'. Travelling through glendevon, the sma' Glen, Glen Quaich and The Trossachs all of which have their own unique landscapes. Our first stop of the day is at Doune Castle, a 15th century keep. The castle is full of history and has been used in many TV and film productions including Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Outlander and Game of Thrones. We'll stop for lunch at the picturesque highland village of Kenmore at the eastern end of Loch Tay. Whitewash cottages make way to a sandy beach and loch view. Our last stop of the day is a visit Glenturret whisky distillery where you'll learn how they make the 'water of life' before sampling a few drams.

Drink Tasmania’s full day Whisky Tour departs from Hobart and gives you the opportunity to visit 3 distilleries in a single day. While being driven and guided through spectacular Tasmanian landscapes from the Coal Valley to the Southern Midlands to the Tasmanian Highlands you'll be able to taste up to a dozen Tasmanian single malt whiskies and spirits, meet the whisky makers and to go behind the scenes of the distillation process. We visit different distilleries on different days of the week depending on availability, however we will always ensure we create the best and most diverse experience available for our guests on any given day. We depart Edinburgh at 8:30am, visit one Highland distillery and one Lowland distillery and join their tours or have some whisky samples and enjoy the surroundings of the Scottish highlands and Lowlands then drive back a different route to Edinburgh with a return around 1:45pm. One tour and one tasting at the first distillery and one distillery tasting at the second distillery. Some fantastic landmarks on the tour are the three bridges at Queensferry and the Kelpies near Falkirk.
