My name is Juan, founder of Experience Baires, and together with Gonzalo and Magdalena, we want to show the authentic tango scene to those who want to enjoy this intimate cultural expression. We are a diverse and locally-based team devoted to create and share immersive experiences. Our goal is to offer guests and travelers authentic activities where they are part of the local culture. Gonzalo and Magdalena are professional, seasoned tango dancers and teachers embedded with in the local scene. Influenced by the classical school, they are exponents of the Buenos Aires modern tango who recognize the legacy of the great masters.

Enjoy a private Tango class during this half-day Tango tour, with our staff of professional dancers. After the private tango lesson, continue the tour with a visit to a ballroom where 'Practicas,' are held. There, you can practice your first dance steps and enjoy a delicious coffee and croissants with the local Tango dancers. The tour lasts 4 hours, takes place during the afternoon, and includes private transportation.

Our tour is ideal for those who want to enter deep into the world of Tango by learning the basic concepts of this dance and experiencing a traditional Milonga. In these traditional ballrooms, the center of cultural life of the Argentines, you will not only learn basic steps with expert dancers, but you will also explore this culture in greater depth. Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and a visit to two Milongas that are located in the neighborhoods of San Telmo and Palermo in Buenos Aires. The first Milonga is "bohemian" and usually has a live orchestra. Here you will take a class to learn the Tango, and spend time practicing before heading to the second location. The second Milonga contrasts with the first because it is a more formal one that sticks to the roots of Tango. The show here is run by professional dancers who dance a demonstration that lasts about 3 tangos (about 10-15 minutes). You will be able to dance here too. Both Milongas have guaranteed tables reserved especially for you.
