Tulamben was a very anonymous fishing village in the dry lands of Karangasem for a very long period. Nowadays, it’s the busiest diving destination in Bali. Since the discovery of the USS Liberty as a diving destination back in the 1980’ies,  USS Liberty Shipwreck • Type: Shore Dive • Level: All Levels • Current: None • Depth: 10 – 30 meters This is the most famous dive site in Bali. The USS Liberty Shipwreck is a 120 meter long shipwreck just 50 meters off the shore in Tulamben. It lies between 10 and 30 meters, with a small part a bit more shallow. This dive site has everything for everyone. It is the easiest wreck dive in the world. The Liberty is covered with coral and has an abundance of fish life around it.

Unlike other places for snorkeling, Tulamben offers unique underwater scenery visible from the surface: the USAT Liberty shipwreck. The ship has been sunken for more than 40 years making it a top scuba diving destination in Bali. Luckily snorkelers can also see it from the surface without having to dive deep into the water.

Demre, 150km west of Antalya, arrival to Üçağız port and boarding. A total of two hour boat tour, respectively Simena Village, Castle and follow the Kekova Island and wreck city is seen.In the direction of the return, we will have a swimming stop at Burç Bay for about half an hour.The boat ride ends again in Ucagiz and takes the bus to the center of Demre. A buffet lunch is served at the restaurant in the centre of Demre. Santa Claus in Demre accompanied by our experienced guide The Church of Nicholas is visited and then departed to Myra. Visit to Myra and the Lycian rock tombs and the Roman theatre. Then we will cruise back to Antalya. Arrival to Antalya.

Unlike standard courses, this experience combines deep diving techniques, extended bottom time with Nitrox, and real-world wreck diving. With years of experience as an SSI Training Center, we focus on small group training for a safe and personalized learning experience. You’ll dive to 40 meters, refine gas planning, and gain confidence in deep environments while exploring stunning marine life, coral formations, and artificial reefs. You’ll start at the Liberty Wreck, move on to the dramatic Drop-Off wall dive, and finish with a deep dive at the Boga Wreck, applying your Nitrox skills. Upon completion, you’ll receive SSI Nitrox & Deep Diving certifications, unlocking the SSI Specialty Diver Recognition Level, allowing you to advance further in your diving journey.

Tulamben: USAT Liberty Wreck, Drop off and Coral garden are located about 2,5 hours drive from South Bali. Here we will guide you for snorkeling from the shore settled at the front of the beach restaurant. Just a few fin kicks away is famous USAT Liberty shipwreck covered by impressive corals and dotted by a lot of reef fishes and Turtles. Trip will start at 7:30 am from your hotel and will finish at 5 pm.
