A class with a celebrated Venetian craftsman who will teach you how to create a unique glass artwork, following the old Murano techniques. The best experience to learn about the old arts of Venice lagoon islands: Murano and Burano. With a private boat from Venice, directly to the oldest original Murano Glass Factory, where a Master glassblower and his team are working daily, following the tradition of centuries ago. From Murano, crossing the lagoon, we’ll reach Burano island, famous for its lace work and the colourful atmosphere. Walking by picturesque houses, enjoying the typical “bussolai” (famous cookies of the island), feeling like a resident. Last but not least, an insightful guided visit into an historical hand-made lace workshop. Then back to Venice by private boat, for an outstanding view of the lagoon.

Our demonstration of glass working is one the best experiences. You will see a Glass Master using different techniques to produce artworks in front of your eyes. The Glass Master is still using the same techniques that have been using for centuries. You will be amazed by this experience! A representative of the glass factory will explain all the different steps of the production and after the demo you will visit the showroom. And an artistic glass item will be given to you as a gift!

Studio Murano Art offers a hands-on experience with glass where you can make your own one-of-a-kind glass item! If you ́ve ever wanted to try glassblowing, schedule a lesson and learn from our master artisan, Giuliano and his well-equipped team. With his 33 years of experience and generational knowledge he will safely and happily guide you through making your own unique piece. Please allow 24 hours for your piece to safely cool and come down to room temperature. This process of cooling is called annhealing and is necessary for blown glass. Free delivery is available but only after 5 PM the following day of your workshop. If you would like to see your piece before it's wrapped in paper and bubble wrap you can return anytime to pick up your workshop piece the following day after 10 AM.
