This adventure starts off at the cruise ship docks as an expert guide will transfer the guaranteed, small group on a narrated 30 minute journey to the West Glacier boat launch in the Tongass National Forest. Guests gear up in top quality waterproof gear and after a quick paddle lesson, will launch the canoe onto the Mendenhall Lake to start the journey. Private Yellowstone Wolf Watching & Wildlife Safari + lunch
Our Winter and Summer Safaris are led by a wildlife biologist with years of experience guiding in Yellowstone. During the Winter we will focus on wolf watching, viewing moose, bison, elk, coyote, etc.
We will depart your accommodations and head towards Yellowstone’s northern range, undoubtedly one of the prime wildlife viewing spots in the world, it harbors impressive bison herds, wolf packs, and meandering bears. Visitors are likely to depart from the park’s northern lands with at least one, if not more, checks on their wildlife card. Wild and pristine. When thinking about Yellowstone, a vast and amazing back-country, large carnivores, bison herds, iconic geysers, and geothermal features fill the imagination.
Weather permitting we will stop to take fun family friendly hike or two to a secluded lake or waterfall. Mid way through the tour we will stop for lunch at a scenic area.
Time permitting we will walk the boardwalks of Mammoth Hot Springs.

Bikes, Glacier Views, and Microbrews in Juneau

Bikes, Glacier Views, and Microbrews begins with a 20 minute van ride out of historic downtown Juneau out to the Mendenhall Valley, where you'll be outfitted with bikes, helmets, and rain gear if necessary. The ride starts at the eastern side of the Mendenhall Glacier, with a 4 mile ride over to the western shore of Mendenhall Lake. Here, you'll enjoy a brief break and scenic view of the lake. Next, you'll hop back on the bikes and ride 4 miles back to the eastern side of the glacier, riding through two beautiful trails in the Tongass National Forest.
After the ride, your guide will walk you to the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, where you will have 45 minutes of independent exploration. View the glacier, enjoy the trails, and learn about the history of the area. Upon returning to the van, you will take a short drive to Forbidden Peak Brewery and taste a custom flight of local beers and enjoy views of Auke Bay. Your guide will then drive you back downtown at the end of the tour.
