All  island tours include the following points of interest: National Museum, Berkeley Memorial, Independence Square, various churches on the island, The Birds Nest, Bloody Point, Carving Of De Rocks, Wingfield Plantation and the start of the rainforest. We'll stop at the botanical gardens at Romney Manor, home of Caribelle Batik. From there we continue to Brimstone Hill Fortress, the only UNESCO world heritage site in the Caribbean. We then stop at the Black Rocks with some amazing rock formations. Romney Manor/Beach Tour


As you travel through Basseterre, your tour guide will point out the historical sites of Berkeley Memorial, Immaculate Conception Catholic Cathedral, Independence Square, and The War Memorial. Upon arrival at Romney Manor, you will set foot on grounds dating back to the 1600s. Located at Romney Manor is the largest living organism in St. Kitts, a 400-year-old Saman tree. Adjacent to Romney Manor is Wingfield Estate which was owned by the great-great-great grandfather of Thomas Jefferson. Caribelle Batik, a producer of fine batik products is located at Wingfield Estate. Wingfield Estate is one of four places on St. Kitts that has a 17th century Amerindian petroglyphs. The Wingfield watershed is a natural resource that deposits water into the Wingfield River, that provides the island with a portion of its water requirement. Timothy Hill Overlook, is the next stop where you will take in breathtaking panoramic views of the island. Cockleshell Beach is the final stop on the tour.

We continue on to Black Rocks this is where the volcanic lava flowed and formed rock formations on the island's coastline. We proceed to the beginning of the Southern Peninsula atop Timothy hill where there is a beautiful Panoramic view of both the Atlantic ocean as well as the caribbean sea adjacent to each other, from this point we return to Port Zante.

Panoramic Sightseeing Tour of St Kitts


We will Greet you at our meeting point. From there, the tour will proceed to what is considered the island’s national monument, the Berkeley Memorial. Then, you go by a historical slave market. Continue on throughout the old town. Then proceed to the open country roads where you can observe nesting birds. Next, you will arrive at Caribelle Batik, the handy work of Samuel Jefferson, the ancestor to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States. There, you will see the ruins of a sugar plantation, the beginning of the rainforest, a botanical garden, and a factory and gift shop, where you will be allotted 30-minutes to browse. You will then proceed to Timothy Hill, towards the southeast peninsula, where you will see the most picturesque views anywhere in the Caribbean. From this vantage point, you will be able to see both the Atlantic ocean as well as the Caribbean sea.

Our Journey of Discovery begins at the designated meeting point in Port Zante. In 15 minutes, you will learn about the history of Port Zante and historic downtown Basseterre, French for "Low land", including some of her iconic landmarks such as the St. George Anglican Church and the Church of the Immaculate Conception.  From there discover the secrets of the Wingfield Estate in Old Road, the oldest sugar plantation in the Caribbean. Explore the old ruins for thirty minutes. See the lush, verdant Rainforest with Mount Liamigua in the distance.
