Our friendly and professional staff cares -as much as operation allows- about divers' individual needs and preferences. We do not have a maximum diving time other than air consumption and no deco limit. Count on us to enjoy your experience to the fullest. Here in Mahahual/Costa Maya we have 5 different underwater landscapes and dive sites among 3 ranges of depths (most of them are between 45 to 90 feet). Diving conditions are friendly and we enjoy an average 90 feet visibility. All our dives are boat dives (time from the jetty: 10 to 15 minutes). We operate with 3 speed boats specially equipped for diving needs. All the dives sites that we offer to visit are within 10-25 min maximum of navigation from our centre – thanks to a very convenient location in the heart of the port Puerto Colon. We arrange different dives for beginner and advanced divers as well combined trips for all levels of divers. Night shore and boat dives are available.

It takes a little time getting used to it, but after a few minutes of breathing through a regulator most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Try Scuba Diving is not getting participants into the water, but getting them out when the program is over. Try Scuba will be guided and conducted by licensed scuba diving instructor with basic skills before entering open water not more than 12m. We will take underwater photos as a complimentary for your journey. You are also entitled to enjoy the snorkelling session after the diving session is completed.

Scuba Dogs is a PADI 5-Star Dive Center; the only official operator with all gear, restrooms, showers, lockers and professional staff right there at the Marine Park. In particular, this scuba tour for certified divers is uniquely AMAZING in the sense that it's a shallow dive no deeper than 30' which allows you to explore safely without decompression issues; practice basic skills and neutral buoyancy in a protected bay; encounter a great diversity and abundance marine life including yellowtail snappers, damselfish, stingrays and turtles; and explore a diverse bottom composition including the historic fish wall, statues, roman columns, shipwreck structures, and coral reef formations. After a colorful description of the historic and ecological value of this epic site, a professional theory review on the science of diving, and basic skills training in the shallow part of the shoreline, you'll be exploring the entire bay safely under the direct supervision of a dive professional.

This program gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world, in a confined water and open water setting – without committing to a longer certification program. If you decide to become an Open Water Diver within six months of completing your Basic Diver program, your first open water dive will be credited as one of the required training dives.

Get Padi Certified in only 2 days. Complete the Padi Scuba Diver Course and become a certified diver to 12 mtrs, under supervision of an instructor or divemaster. A funfilled and relaxed 2 day course. Day 1 starts in the swimming pools where you learn the basics skills, and then day 2 we dive from one of Gran Canarias stunning beaches.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the PADI Open Water Diver course. If you’re short on time but really want to become a diver, the PADI Scuba Diver rating might be right for you ̶ particularly if you expect to go scuba diving primarily with a dive guide. Join one of our daily dive excursions for certified divers. The promoted dives here are from shore and include an experienced PADI Professional who is guiding you whilst diving in a small group of max 4 divers per guide. Playa Chica is one of our main dive locations, depending on the experience level, offering up to 10 different dives just by entering from shore. A shallow plateau leads into various underwater mountains, slopes, reefs, caverns, and volcanic rock formations with a depth from 1-40m. The marine life in Playa Chica is stunning and varies from schools of small fish to big groupers, barracudas, tunas, seahorses, rays, angle sharks, cuttlefish, octopus, sponges, flounders, crabs etc. There is lots of exciting life to see, whilst the visibility varies from 15-40m. The exact choice of dive sites depends on the daily water &weather conditions as well as the experience level of the group.
