An idea of the itinerary is as follows: Depart at 8:30am for 15 Minutes boat ride to Hol Chan Marine Reserve followed by orientation. 8:45am to 9:45am snorkel At Hol Chan. Boat ride to Shark Ray Alley 10 Minutes. 10am snorkeling at Shark Ray Alley for 25 – 35 Minutes. 10 Minutes ride to Coral Gardens for our 3rd Snorkel stop. 10:15am to 11:15am: Snorkel Coral Gardens. 10 Minutes ride from Coral Gardens to the North Channel to snorkel & look for Manatees. Snorkel for approximately 45 Minutes at North Channel. 15 Minutes ride to Caye Caulker. After consulting with our guests we make a decision to continue to tarpon interaction or take a break to Enjoy a warm Belizean Lunch. At about 1:30pm; take some time to explore the laid back Island of Caye caulker where you can purchase souvenirs. We depart at 3pm enroute to San Pedro with arrival there at about 4pm.

The "Hol Chan Marine Reserve" and "Shark & Ray Alley" are the most famous sites near Ambergris Caye & home to more than 200 species of fish, Rays, pristine coral formations along with sea turtles, rays & much more. "Shark & Ray Alley" offers a friendly but trilling experience with friendly Nurse Sharks, fishes & Southern Stingrays in their natural habitat.

The Friki Tiki boat offers a great view of the beautiful Caribbean waters! This cruise is a six to eight passenger small group activity and is not private.

Snorkeling and Sailing to Caye Caulker with stops at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark & Ray Alley. We do a guided snorkel of the Marine Reserve Hol Chan and then snorkeling at Shark & Ray Alley. We leave a little later than most Tour Operators at 10:00 am vs 8:00 am and return later as well, to include the sun setting, where others have you back before or around 4:00 we get back about 6:00 pm. The Crew will walk Guests around the Village in Caye Caulker, go to feed the Tarpon or see the Seahorses and check out The Split. We typically see dolphins along the way!

Hol Chan Marine Reserve is located off the southern tip of Ambergris Caye. Hol Chan Marine Reserve is doubtfully one of the most popular dive sites in the Caribbean, and indeed in Belize and has burgeoned into a unique refuge, with vigorous coral formations and a richness of marine life. The entire reserve focuses on a cut through the reef (called a quebrada) which is little more than 25 yards wide and 30 feet deep about 4 miles southeast of San Pedro. The tour will then head to the neighbouring Shark Ray Alley, where you will snorkel or dive and view ecstatic Nurse Sharks and Southern Sting Rays. When you arrive, you will see the surface often boiling with rolling sharks and stingray as they compete for the scraps. These creatures have a great tolerance for spectators.

Silk Cayes is a marine reserve consisting of 3 small islands formerly known as the Queen Cayes. This Marine Reserve hosts over 25 species of reef fish, with a variety of coral and other marine life! The Silk Caye is one of healthiest areas in the Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System due to its location and protected status. It is a great destination to snorkel, scuba dive or simply spend a day on the island! Snorkelers explore the reefs surrounding the islands. Scuba Divers explore the the barrier reef wall and other dive sites the Silk Cayes have to offer. As a bonus just before returning to Placencia, everyone has an opportunity to snorkel with rays, sharks and (usually) huge turtles in an area where the local fishermen clean their catch – when the critters hear the boat engines, they think it is meal time and come to the dive boat.

This is a fantastic experience that only occurs from May to September. Swimming with the whale sharks is truly a memorable experience and the adventure of a lifetime! Can you imagine swimming with the biggest fish in the WORLD, the whale shark. Swim alongside these docile animals on this adventure on Holbox Island. We will go into the sea for an hour to try to locate this harmless friend and be able to swim with him (snorkel). Along the way it is very likely to see dolphins and turtles as well as the imposing giant manta ray. Later we will go to another natural reserve called Cabo Catoche, which is located at the end of our beautiful island where the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea divide to be able to do a second snorkel on a reef. Where with a bit of luck we can appreciate the manta rays, turtles, cat shark, sea horses, starfish, fish of many colors among other marine species.

This offering is for a private snorkeling trip from Ambergris Caye however we are open to customizing our tour to ensure guests receive the service they are looking to receive. We can do a day of 5 snorkeling stops which offers some of the best snorkeling in the country or we can do a couple snorkeling stops followed by time to look for manatees, feed tarpons, interact with Stingrays simply do some snorkeling and then spend some time relaxing on a beach where you can also enjoy lunch and catch that perfect tan.
