Sandboarding is an optional activity for children, teens and anyone that wants to give it a try free of charge. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way. This slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of those busy areas at the national parks. The hike through the canyon is not difficult. A short ladder is present. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

Incredible Slot Canyons to the Pacific
This incredible experience will start and end at the same location and has FREE parking. I am an expert guide and amatuer photographer. I will guide you into the most spectacular and hard to reach areas where others have never even heard about! We will descend into an incredible slot canyon with opportunities for one of a kind photos and breathtaking views of the sparkling Pacific Ocean. We will hike the sands of a secluded beach until we reach the mouth of our canyon where we will climb a short rope into a majestic and beautiful green Grotto with a waterfall. We will visit amazing sandstone slot canyons and wind caves on our trek. The hike up is strenuous at times but you will be rewarded with a 20 million dollar view as we summit magnificent cliffs. The experience will leave you with memories and pictures that will last a lifetime!

This is on most Southern Utah bucket lists, you’ll find the local favorite one-two punch of Peek-a-Boo and Spooky Slot Canyons. These magnificent hikes, located in the Dry Fork area of the Grand Staircase–Escalante National Monument make for a killer loop you can tackle in one afternoon of adventure. Once you’re in, all you have to do is walk through a scenic paradise of red and purple rock, arches, and narrow slot canyons.
From the trailhead, we will hike through Dry Fork Wash with moderate scrambling down some short cliffs. Once you’re off the cliff and into the sand dunes, you’ll hike along the creek wash until you see the mouth of Peek-a-Boo. Once you leave Peek-a-Boo, we will hike a little ways away to the entrance of Spooky Gulch. Scramble down a mellow rock face to get into the canyon. It soon tightens up, and you’ll be having a good time navigating the confines of this fun canyon.
