My Son Hindu Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great sample of the ancient Champa civilization located in the southern part of Vietnam.  My Son is about 50 kilometers away from Hoi An. About 70 big and small temples had been built, establishing My Son as a sanctuary of Hinduism in the Champa Kingdom. Cham Pa culture had a big influence on Vietnam’ significance of cultural value. My Son was also a political centre and a royal burial ground and the complex consists of more than 70 structures devoted to Hindu gods and goddesses and the most noticeable one, Shiva, was considered the protector of the Champa’s kings. This tour is a combination of culture experiencing and nature exploring. Travelers will both discover My Son sanctuary and its natural surroundings. – 5:30 – 5:45: Travelers get pickup from hotels in Hoi An – 6:15: Travelers get dropped at the area where they start their trek with the local experienced guide. Before going on the trek , travelers have a light breakfast and coffee. Travelers go on the journey with an experienced local who went to mandatory service and used to be a hunter. He then will lead guests through the hidden paths, peaceful streams while naturescape keeps exposing ahead. After that we go through the tranquil old streets of the ancient Hoi An with our tour guide, where you can admire the unique design of the ancient houses and visit the most popular sites in the town such as Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old House, Japanese Cover Bridge and local market where you can observe the daily life of local people.
