Enjoy a 90-minute surf lesson with all equipment such as wetsuits, surfboards, leash, wax, surf booties included. You will be accompanied by certified surf instructors. Come and enjoy a great time. Our school, Onda Pura, was established in 1994 and is one of the first surf schools to be implemented in Portugal. We are located in Praia de Matosinhos, considered one of the best beaches in the country with perfect conditions for surfing. Surfing lessons are two hours long and all the necessary material is included (surfboard, boots, wetsuit, water shoes and insurance). We will be with you at all times, teaching you all we know about this amazing sport and giving you the confidence you need to enjoy your surfing experience without having to worry about anything else. No previous experience is required. Please note that the schedule may change, as our priority will be to choose the best conditions for an easy and safe practice.

Surfing with Surf Life Tenerife is an extremely fun activity, developed by licensed surf instructors. You will change and leave your personal values in our shop, located 100 meters from the beach. You will walk with our instructors to the surf spot and after a little warm-up, we will practice specific surfing techniques at the beach. Our instructors will get into the water with you and, depending on your level: – they will not use a board but wear flippers on their feet in order to push you into the waves and stabilize your board from behind if necessary; – they will surf next to you with their board if you are already an intermediate surfer able to catch waves on your own. At the end of the lesson, after a bit of stretching, you will get back to the shop where you can have a fresh shower!
