The most devastating eruption was on August 2 – September 21, 1926, with the lava hoarding Batur Village and Ulun Danu Batur Temple. Mount Batur has an altitude of 1717mdpl Part of the mountain's body collapsed due to a massive eruption, so it formed a very large crater called the caldera. With an altitude of 1717 Mdpl, the novice climbers preferred the tracks here. Mount Batur has a very extraordinary view. Climbing Mount Batur usually starts around 3 am and the time needed to reach the summit is approximately 3 hours for beginners. To start the trip, be guided by a local guide. the most important thing to bring is a jacket, a camera flashlight and a drink.
