Spend time visiting the famous Volcano Teide.   With pick up from your hotel or close by, taken up to the volcano with opportunity to use the cable car if wanted. (Do advise us in the special requirements section if you would like this option and we will contact you)if you would like to get a little closer to the peak.  Cable car is not included in this trip. The magnificent views above the clouds or on a clear day you can see the other of the 6 Canarian Islands surrounding Tenerife. You will have a stop off in the famous Roque de Garcia to view the volcano and the canyon where the land sunk. Many movies have been filmed here for the luna landscapes. Clash of the Titans, Planet of the Apes. and many more. This trip does NOT involve trekking nor time to trek to the peak of the volcano. It is relaxing and enjoyable time spent visiting the famous volcano. You will also have time to stop and have something to eat. Bring some lunch or try some canarian food in one of the bars.

This tour allows the independent traveller to make their own way to the stargazing activity. You drive to meet the guides and the group at the sunset viewpoint, then follow the group with your vehicle to the stargazing point. The Polestar tour is cheaper and is a good option for bigger groups or families who have a rental car. **You must have your own vehicle at every moment (a rental car, not a taxi). **Please provide a valid whatsapp contact number. **Be aware that the EXACT meeting time and other useful information will be sent via whatsapp the morning of the scheduled tour.**

We will visit the most representative places in the north of Tenerife. Our first visit will be to the Teide National Park, home to the highest peak in Spain: the volcano El Teide. Here you can admire the impressive volcanic landscapes of Las Cañadas del Teide. We will descend to Icod de los Vinos where we will have the opportunity to contemplate the famous Drago Milenario, believed to be more than 800 years old. You will have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy the Canarian gastronomy in one of the restaurants we recommend. The next destination is Garachico. We will stroll through the streets of the old town and discover the natural pools of El Caletón, formed by lava flows, or the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress that defended the town from pirate attacks. Finally, we will enter the Teno Rural Park until we reach the hamlet of Masca, located between impressive valleys and ravines.

There are 15 National Parks in Spain and El Teide is the most visited of all. Chosen Natural Heritage by Unesco and it is one of the volcanoes most studied by scientists around the world for its diversity. It is also the third largest volcano in the World from its base. Visit Teide National Park, a one-of-a-kind, magical place boasting lush pine forests, stunning endemic flora, lunar landscapes and otherworldly rock formations. Mount Teide is the highest mountain in Spain and the second highest volcano in Europe. It towers majestically over the island of Tenerife with its 3,718 meters of otherworldly lava formations. This rocky giant stands on a 5000-metre-deep ocean floor, stretches up to the heavens and lives to the beat of its magmatic heart. There’s no better way to experience the four elements at once than Mount Teide, a true wonder of nature.

The highlight of Tenerife with beautiful photo stops of volcanoes and lava flows. We also take a short walk to visit the Sámara Crater.

You cannot miss this wonder of the National Park. You will enjoy landscapes that will seem from another planet. You will breathe the pure air of the highest peak in Spain. With its 3,718m this huge volcano attracts travelers from all over the world. You will walk among the volcanic lava and you will feel tiny when you see the impressive environment declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. They have good views of the surroundings, although only part of the summit can be seen. If you don't feel like going up in the cable car, you can complete the visit at Roques de García.

We will cross the Corona Forestal Nature Reserve and leave the Canary Island pine forests behind us until we reach the Teide National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Along the route we will make some stops so that you can admire all that the natural area of Las Cañadas del Teide has to offer: a landscape of impressive lava flows that looks as if it has been brought from another planet. We will visit some of the most emblematic places of the National Park, such as the Llanos de Ucanca, or Los Roques de García. We will make a stop at the base of the cable car where, if you have purchased your ticket in advance and subject to availability, you can take the Teide Cable Car up to La Rambleta station, where you will be just a few metres from the peak. Throughout the day, you will have free time to have lunch on your own or enjoy the Canarian gastronomy in one of the restaurants that we recommend.

We take you high above the clouds up through the pine trees of the Corona Forest to the ancient landscape of the Teide volcano. We then watch the sun set over three other islands in the Canary archipelago with a glass of Cava to celebrate the everyday unique sunset. Stargazing takes place further up at a height of 2000m above sea level often above a blanket of clouds, a unique experience to have! A laser guided safari across the sky shows you constellations and relating the ancient Greek mythology behind them. To enjoy the details of the moon, planets, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters we use a 12" Dobsonian and Celestron Nexstar telescopes (what objects are visible depends on the time of the year)
