Our mangrove glass bottom kayak & snorkel tour begins at the lovely beach from Lac Cai. The Bonaire Mangrove reserve is located in Lac Bay National Park. Visitors can only enter the mangroves in the company of an experienced nature guide. Your stable, glass bottom sit-on-top kayak is equipped with a comfortable backrest seat, a waterproof bag for your personal belongings and, of course, paddles. Off you go, into the calm waters. The glass bottom kayak provides an ideal mode of transport in this beautiful and tranquil environment, as you manoeuvre with ease through the mangrove shallows and tunnels. Gliding by four different species of mangrove trees in crystal-clear waters, paddling past bird habitats and fish spawning areas, you'll learn of the relationship between the plants and the animals. The snorkel location offers a great variety of marine life and is considered by many a must-do while visiting Bonaire!

There is a reason that the Mangrove Tunnels of Lido Key are a must-do experience when visiting the Gulf Coast. We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life…then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. We meet a HALF HOUR before our tours)

Guests will start their paddle through the salt marsh, a popular feeding zone for numerous long-legged wading birds and river otters. 30 minutes in guests will notice a change in habitat, transitioning into Mangroves, indicating a change in salinity and elevation. This is where you will enter one of the best Mangrove Tunnels in the county. After numerous mangrove tunnels, creeks and ponds and hopefully tons of wildlife guests will then empty out into a manatee safe zone the Faka-union Canal. Year Round expert kayak guides included!

Our guides are certified Advanced Master Naturalists and South Florida natives who have been paddling most of their lives and guiding tours for over 15 years. We are passionate about education and protecting Florida’s beautiful ecosystems. Our groups are small usually 10 guests or less providing a personal experience. A 2 hour kayak rental will allow you to explore the calm, clear waters between Stock Island and Key West on your own from the comfort of your single or double kayak (book per person not per kayak) Glide over sea grass and through mangrove tunnels as you look for fish, birds, sharks, rays and maybe even a manatee. Our industry leading small group tours have only 8 people max verses 15 people for your safety and enjoyment. Just a few minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of Sarasota is our favorite local beach, Turtle Beach. It is only a few short miles from the main Siesta Key beach to Turtle Beach and the Sarasota County trolley will drop you right there. Not only is this area such a beautiful and quiet place, it is also a great place to paddle! We start on the intercostal and paddle down a short canal to the Bay. We paddle around the mangrove islands through a mangrove tunnel or two and alongside a bird rookery. We paddle around the mangrove islands of Jim Neville Marine Preserve and then to a "secret" beach. This beach is only accessible by boat so we may have it to ourselves. Such a beautiful place for a quick swim or just stopping for a few moments to relax. You may want to stay here all day. This location is home to all kinds of wildlife including manatees, dolphins, beautiful sea and shorebirds and lots of fish.

No one imagines that so close from the city center there are so many beauties. Mangroves, islands, solitary beaches, wildlife , and more…. We'll begin with a short briefing and paddling instruction for afterwards heading towards the mangroves. we'll pass by two solitary islands with lots of wild life, birds etc… our first stop will be at Paradise beach an isolated beach with spectacular views and then… the mangroves, crossing them through a natural tunnel that gives us a feeling of tunnel time crossing, finishing into corumbê bay another + spectacular place. ATTENTION !!! This tour is designed for people who are not sedentary and who practice sports Maximum duration: 3 hours 30 minutes, paddling time: 120 minutes, one stop, Intense physical effort. WHAT TO BRING: Sunscreen, repellent, sportswear, bathing suit, cap, sunglasses and water. This is a wonderful alternative to an airboat ride … quiet, peaceful and surreal. It is a leisurely paddle experience with a naturalist guide who throughout the tour will be interpreting and explaining what you are seeing. It is a great learning experience in a very unique part of the Everglades. The Everglades is a vast and varied ecosystem containing the largest mangrove forest in North America. Throughout the forest are brackish "lakes" whose waters are a mix of "sweet" fresh water and salt water. They are refuges and nursery grounds for alligators, herons, egrets, stilts, ducks, wood storks, spoonbills,  otters, orchids and bromeliads and a gamut of fishes. Interconnecting these lakes are narrow, flowing tidal creeks. The mangrove forest grows to the very edge and over the tops of these creeks forming a canopy or a tunnel. The dense canopy regulates moisture and humidity allowing  to thrive. Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.
