Come face-to-face with Catalina's abundant marine life on this 45-minute underwater excursion. Cruise five feet below the surface in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin with a live guide suggesting salient points of interest. Every passenger has their own seat and port hole but you are also free to roam around the cabin for other viewpoints.

This tour takes you to the famous Stingray City sandbar, where the wild stingrays swim around you in shallow water. The crew will show you how to safely feed these stingrays if you like, and the on-board photographer will take memorable photos of you and your family and friends, available for purchase. The snorkeling stop will either be at the Barrier Reef or the Coral Gardens. Being able to snorkel in the Silfra fissure is a privilege that mother nature literally opened up for us. Silfra is a big 'crack' in the ground located in Thingvellir on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge formed as two tectonic plates move apart from each other. The benefits of choosing the wetsuit option is you can dive down and have the most unique perspective, seeing above and below the water. This choice is popular for scuba divers who do not have the required certifications for the scuba dive. If you're not a confident swimmer then the drysuit can be a better option. Prior experience snorkeling/ diving will help you greatly to dive down but is not necessary. You can book the drysuit option on another listing for you or other people in your group for the same time tour. We always have small groups, 6 people per guide. This allows for a more closer and personal feel. If you have a group of 7 or more you can be together preparing your equipment but in the water some of you will be separate.

The one hour Semi-Submarine tour is designed to have you experience the magic of Sainte Anne National Marine Park, from both above and below the water. The tour departs from Eden Island and heads to specific viewing areas inside the Marine Park where you will go in the underwater cabin to view the corals and amazing marine life like you never have before. You do not require any special clothing when going for the trip and are expected to remain dry during the entire tour which is suitable for people of all ages.
