Whales of Iceland is the largest whale museum in Europe. The 23 life-sized models of whales species found around Iceland are each modeled after an actual whale in the wild. The museum features underwater soundscapes & lighting, multiple interactive experiences, and a new exhibit highlighting the threats (and their solutions) that whales face today. Two documentaries are screened throughout the day for guests: Whale Wisdom, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, and Sonic Sea, narrated by Rachel McAdams. We share the residents' rescue stories, information about the various species of farmed animals, and the industries they came from.
