Catch the 9.15am '' Island Direct'' bookable on line, or Fullers 0900 ferry to Waiheke, LOOK OUT for your name on the black welcome board, or wait at the I-Site information booth in the ferry terminal at 1000. Best to use the ferries washrooms, as the terminals often experience long ques. We then embark on a scenic tour taking in some of the wonderful sites fully commentated, before visiting 3 of Waihekes finest boutique vineyards. We recommend you book your own lunch reservation during the busy summer months. Mudbrick Archive 2pm or Oyster Inn, Fenice or Vino Vino 2.15pm. Or you can just choose one of many local cafes and eateries in the sea side village of Oneroa. Transfers provided back the ferry terminal at 3.45pm, or you may chose to stay on and enjoy more time on the Island and make your own way back to the ferry .

Explore the Historic Fort on North Head in Devonport one of Auckland's most treasured historic reserves on this 2½ hour guided Segway Tour. You'll be God-smacked by the spectacular views both built and natural from the summit of this volcanic cone and you'll explore the historic Fort of the 1880's. As you tour the Fort, the streets of the Victorian village, the beaches and parks you'll learn the history both Maori and European from your local tour guide. With a maximum of 6 people per tour your guide will spend one to one time with you teaching you to ride a Segway and you'll have plenty of time to practice before you leave on the tour. Every day of the week, you have 3 scheduled times to choose from in the Summer and 2 scheduled times to choose from in the Winter months.  Being a small historic seaside village with stunning views, a quiet charming atmosphere and lots of open spaces it's one of the best locations anywhere in the world for a Segway Tour.

The tour will be customized to meet your preferences where possible, in particular which types of wine tasting experiences you would like. You will be transported in a top of the line Mercedes V250D minivan with nappa leather seats and room for up to six passengers. Your guide, Geoff, is the owner of the business and has been a Waiheke resident for over 24 years. He is a wine enthusiast with excellent knowledge of wines from Waiheke and other parts of NZ.

Waiheke Island is an artsy and creative place. On this tour you’ll discover the best of its arts scene, and meet talented artists, with the help of an expert local guide. Here's just some of what we'll do: Visit art galleries in Oneroa, including an artists’ collective and the Community Art Gallery. Tour the local sculpture park and learn about this intriguing array of outdoor art. Visit sculptors and painters in their studios – and even get to meet an artisan shoemaker! Sometimes we do the northern route first, and sometimes the southern. Why is that? Well, we often need to work around the tides! You will be met by your guide at Pier 2 where the ferries for Waiheke Island depart from downtown. The trip to the island through the beautiful Hauraki Gulf takes around 35 mins aboard a large “Fullers”ferry that has bar and refreshment facilities onboard. Take a scenic Tour around to the northern side of the Island taking in Oneroa Beach, Palm Bay picturesque Onetangi Beach. On the island you will visit and enjoy premium tastings at three vineyards with a choice from Mudbrick Vineyard, Stonyridge, Cable Bay, Obsidian, Tantalus and Te Motu. Sample award winning Olive Oil from Rangihoua Olive growers. Their oils have made it into the Flos Ole’ Italian guide of the world’s best Olive Oils. An hour and a quarter is located to take lunch a restaurant at your own expense. Lunch is not included in the tariff but we can recommend or arrange a reservation at Mudbrick Vineyard Bistro, Cable Bay, Tantalus or other cafe to suit your budget. We return on the 4.00pm Ferry to downtown Auckland.
