Our main goal is to find dolphins! Depart from Lisbon on a fast Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB). The adventure starts on a speedboat on the search for dolphins in the wide Atlantic Ocean. Before leaving the Tagus Estuary through the river mouth, you will pass under the 25th of April bridge. You will see the beautiful monuments in Belem neighbourhood, and head into the Sea. Get the best view from the Atlantic Coastline, on a comfortable and safe 8.5m RIB. We will scan the ocean in the search for wildlife using several techniques, just like a scientist, and you will play an important role in helping us find them. Get to know the different cetacean and seabirds species with an expert Marine Biologists. During 3 hours, you will experience the adventure of looking for wild marine species, like sunfish, sharks, jellyfish, whales or even sea turtles, so close to Lisbon. Our extensive whale spotting network, has given us a 90% sighting success rate. Our whale watching tour focuses on Minke Whales, Humpback Whales, Orca Killer Whales, and other marine wildlife such as porpoises, dolphins and other species. Please note Since this is a wildlife tour we can never predict or guarantee sightings of any kind. If there are no sightings on the tour, we do not offer refunds but instead, we offer our passengers a free return to join our tour depending on availability, valid for up to three years. Weather is a big factor for the tour, we may have to cancel the tour due to unfavorable weather conditions. We will notify you via email in the event of a cancellation.

Guaranteed Sightings!  7 Seas Whale Watch is located in the heart of historic downtown Gloucester, MA and in one of the busiest parts of Gloucester harbor. As soon as you board the Privateer you will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of Gloucester’s working waterfront. You may see fishing boats unloading fish, lobster men baiting and setting their traps, and perhaps even some of our indigenous wildlife such as Harbor seals, Gray seals, and various species of birds. The tour begins with a harbor tour of Gloucester Harbor starting with Cape Pond Ice (which most of you have seen on Wicked Tuna and ends at the Dog Bar Breakwater.  A typical trip is anywhere from 3-4 hours but may be extended if the whales move further out for feed.  The Privateer IV was built for 300 passengers but we only book to 150 to ensure the comfort and safety of our passengers and is equipped with restrooms, and on-board food Galley and bar.
