Bodega Pirineos is one of the oldest wineries in the Somontano Designation of Origin. Created in 1964 as a wine growers cooperative, it has been growing without losing its essence. A mixture of tradition and modernity, your visit is an excellent journey through the history of wine in the Somontano. If we add to this the tasting of their wines accompanied by cheese and sausages in the area, it is an excellent way to spend a different day with family or friends.

As a vineyard owner, winemaker, and a student of viticulture I can offer guests my unique experience and education. I will be able to show them up close and with hands-on experience what it takes to make wine from the soil to the bottling process. In addition, I am very close with the wine-making community in Krems which affords me the opportunity to create curated experiences for my guests. Lastly, in my 25-year career at IBM, I worked with colleagues and partners from more than 50 countries around the world, I have international experience with people of all types of backgrounds and cultures.

Our tour begins with a visit to a Wine Cellar Museum. If you're a lover of wine, you won't want to miss this unique museum. Here, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the techniques used to produce some of the country's wines. Next up is a Boutique Wine Cellar. They offer opportunity to taste some of the finest local wines. Here visitors enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards and cellar to learn more about the winemaking process. Last but not least, we'll visit Casa Timis in Chitorani. This charming house has been beautifully restored and is now a fine restaurant surrounded by vineyards, between the hills. We will have lunch here and you can try the local wine.
