We then watch the sun set over three other islands in the Canary archipelago with a glass of Cava to celebrate the everyday unique sunset. Stargazing takes place further up at a height of 2000m above sea level often above a blanket of clouds, a unique experience to have! A laser guided safari across the sky shows you constellations and relating the ancient Greek mythology behind them. To enjoy the details of the moon, planets, galaxies, nebulae and star clusters we use a 12" Dobsonian and Celestron Nexstar telescopes (what objects are visible depends on the time of the year)


Sunset and stargazing from Teide


Teide National Park is one of the best places to admire the sunset in Tenerife. In 2013, Teide National Park was declared a Starlight Tourist Destination and Starlight Reserve by the Starlight Foundation and since then the number of tourists interested in astronomy has grown, making Tenerife a popular destination for astronomers worldwide. The low light pollution inside Teide National Park (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is what makes it the perfect place for stargazing in Tenerife, as here you're almost guaranteed great night sky conditions, which will allow you to observe varios stars and constellations. Tenerife has a special law in place in order to protect these pristine star-watching conditions inside Teide National Park, by controlling the flight routes and limiting the light pollution inside the park. At an altitude of 2000 meters, we will discover the constellations designed by our ancestors and their brightest stars. Also we will be using very powerful telescopes.


Excursion to Cachi and Los Cardones National Park


We will travel to a magical town located in the Northwest of the Salta Calchaquí Valleys, surrounded by imposing mountains, snowy, plateaus and colonial architecture that will take us back to the past. Excursion Visiting Wineries in Tenerife with Lunch


On this excursion through the south of the island you will discover the most authentic flavors of the island of Tenerife and its renowned wines. We will start our day with a visit to Finca Las Margaritas. We will take a tour of the farm in which they will explain how bananas were grown in the past, how gofio is obtained, and you will try a tasting of local products. We will continue the excursion in Mencey de Chasna, where we will take a guided tour of the winery to end with a wine tasting. Tour to Cachi from Salta


We will head for RN 68 towards the tobacco towns of Cerrillos, La Merced and El Carril to turn off for RP 33 to the West. There we will enter the Andes Precordillera through the Quebradas de Los Laureles and Escoipe. Then we will begin to walk the famous Cuesta del Obispo, a meandering path surrounded by impressive rock formations and natural walls where we can see the king of the skies, El Condor. The slope will deposit us in the enchanted valley and the Millstone, our highest point 3348 meters above sea level. From this point, our landscape will change radically and we will enter the desert of the puna, where we will travel the Tin Tin straight, part of the Inca Trail, Los Cardones National Park, Payogasta, and Cachi.
