Highly recommended for first-timer or beginners who would like to experience horseback riding on the beach. This is a great experience. Ride the horse on the white sand beach and sightsee beautiful sea scenery along the beach. Just riding along the beach kicking up the surf is just one of those unforgettable experiences. The horses are very well looked after and the staff is experienced and safety-conscious. A 1-hour horse ride will give you plenty of time along the beach and on the longer rides. Small group ensures personal service. Feel at ease with experienced guides and beautiful, gentle horses available for all abilities and sizes of riders. The rider's weight must under than 85 kg (187 Ibs).

Join us on our two hour Rivertrail trek. See the spectacular mountain views of the Torlesse basin as you trek through the valley to the Otarama lookout point over the magnificent snow fed Waimakariri Canyon whilst riding through on our high country farm. Stop for a fantastic photo opportunities overlooking the Canyon before we ride down the terraces, following a musterers’ trail through the farmland. This ride is suitable for all riding abilities and fitness but caters also for the more experienced riders with some opportunities for faster paced riding. Please note riders must weigh less than 120kilos (2641bs), be a minimum of 12 years old and wear sturdy closed shoes(running shoes are ok). We will pick you up at Essaouira if you don’t have your own car. Arrived at the Ranch you will have a little introduction in our way of equitation and will see your horse: one of our wonderful Arabian-Barb-Horses. You will stay in saddle for 1 hour. One of our professional guides will accompany you during the ride. Our guides speak English, French and Arabian. Our guides will always help you, if you have some problem with our horses. In one hour on horseback, you will arrive at the wonderful beach of Diabat, where you will have a few towards Ile of Mogador with his Portuguese castle. The way back to the Ranch will pass through the forest of Eucalypti and Mimosa. This ride is for all riders; it is a good possibility for persons, which never tried equitation. Returned to the Ranch our driver will bring you back to Essaouira. You can book this ride from 9:00 until one hour before sunset.
