Immerse yourself into the french lifestyle with a traditional lunch which consists in homemade regional specialties paired with a variety of Champagnes. Live an experience discovering a vineyard during an unusual walk of 2 hours. Village of Cumières, near Epernay. Commented walking tour lasting 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes, composed of: • discovery of the village of Cumières • Discover the vineyard landscapes and their history • Discovery of the works of the vineyard • Tasting of 3 Champagne in the middle of vineyards associated with local products. These are champagnes developed by a winemaker independent of the town. The grapes constituting each cuvée tasted come from plots visited during the ride. This allows visitors to discover the link between the terroir and the aromas of champagnes. Local products tasted (ham of Reims, Langres, pink biscuit champenois) allow to discover agreements products / Champagne.

Be welcomed at 4:00pm in Mareuil-sur-Ay at a typical Champagne House in the middle of Champagne vineyards (Le Clos Corbier). During the visit to the cellars dug in the 1850’s, you will start with the discovery of a traditional press and learn all about the secrets of the champagne making process. Take a seat and enjoy your tasting class with a champagne quiz then train your nose to identify the different aromas and flavors that can be found in Champagne through an olfactory workshop. Get competitive as you blindly identify 3 different Champagnes from the family including one Grand Cru Vintage. You will enjoy some local sweet treats and finger food paired with your champagnes ! (It can be adapted to allergies or specific diets) Your Champagne experience ends around 5:30pm.
