Great sunsets can often be found near Zion National Park. This location is within 30 minutes of Zion. This is a great opportunity to see the beautiful Peekaboo slot canyon and then have some fun on the sand dunes at sunset. The beauty of the dunes just adds to an already unique ATV adventure. Sand boarding down a dune is one of the optional activities and the kids especially will love it! Whether its a sight seeing ride or an adventuresome outing for the kids, this experience has something for everyone.

The Sand Mountain Sand Dune Tour includes a variety of ecosystems and sites that would otherwise go unseen. Guides are highly experienced and cater to every driver and their experience level. This tour focuses mainly on the unique Red Sand Dunes and Sand Trails near Sand Hollow State Park. During this tour, our guides can teach and coach you through different terrain and driving obstacles for an all-around inclusive experience.

Sandboarding is an included optional activity for children, teens, and adults who want to give it a try. You can slide standing up or sitting down according to your skill and comfort levels. There are sand dunes and beautiful scenery along the way, with occasional small wildlife that may make an appearance. The slot canyon is away from the crowds and is a great alternative to some of the busier areas. The hike through the slot canyon is not difficult. It does include a small ladder near the beginning of the hike. It is a great opportunity for kids and families to relax and go at their own pace.

We'll paddle kayaks or stand up paddleboards to see cliffs, limestone shale beaches, and known locations for wildlife viewing. Our creek channel is a great nature walk or paddle. We may see beaver, sunbathing turtles, great blue heron, eagle, and perhaps even owl. While we paddle, we'll share information about the geology of the area. Via Ferrata routes are super-scenic hikes and climbs equipped with ladder rungs and a permanent safety cable to which the hiker is continuously attached. The Above Zion Via Ferrata is appropriate for ages 8 to 80. If you can climb up and down a ladder and hike two miles, you can do this! Your guide will outfit you with a helmet, harness, and via ferrata lanyard. They will also accompany you through this unforgettable adventure. Bring a pack with water and snacks, wear closed-toe hiking shoes, and expect to spend 3 to 4 hours.
