Hiroshima Saijo Sake Tasting Tour with visit to 7 Breweries
Saijo is one of the three major sake brewing area in Japan. There are seven sake breweries within walking distance of Saijo Station. You can efficiently tour all the breweries in only two hours while listening to the English speaking guide's explanation about the history and sake of each brewery. You can also sample the sake recommended by each brewery. You can taste various types of sake, such as Daiginjo, Junmai, and Cloudy sake, so you are sure to find your favorite sake. Some of the breweries do not usually offer sake tasting on weekdays, so it is very valuable to be able to sample sake from all the breweries.

The thatched-roof Sanmon gate was built in the 14th century and is a valuable item that survived the fire. You can enter the main hall of the temple and see a wonderful view of a statue of Amida Buddha, SHINRAN, and his wife Eshinni. In front of the main hall, you can see an 800-year-old ginkgo tree with leaves that SHINRAN planted .
Since 1868, Isokura Brewery has produced Japanese sake "Inasato" using local water and rice. You can enjoy and learn how to make sake with traditional methods during the tour and try sake tasting at the shop.

This Sake brewery private tour brings you not only to the world of Sake but also exclusive cultural experiences.
I will take you to Ichinoya Sake Brewery, established in 1865, which still produces high quality Sake with traditional methods. You will see the house’s brewing process mostly by human hands with limited mechanicals, which is designated as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2024.

Our new project “FURUSATO Cycling” tour is launched to offer an experience in which you can fully enjoy the “REAL HAGI”. We offer a guided cycling tour where you will be able to feel the local life and visit special spots which usually cannot be visited, while cycling through the beautiful countryside.
Our first tour project is centered on Japanese rice wine “sake”. We will follow the “made-in-Hagi sake” brewing process showing where the rice and water ingredients are collected. Also, we will be visiting the local sake brewery and rice polishing facility.

Our tour includes Kikisake experience.「Kikisake」 refers to judging and evaluating alcoholic beverages based on color, aroma, and taste. This brewery always has about 10 types of sake available.
