This tour takes you to Aveiro considered by many as the "Venice of Portugal" which is famous for its large network of canals running through the city. In this Tour you will also take a cruise on a "moliceiro" boat (a traditional boat from this city) which will take you along the channels as you admire the city’s unique tile facades. Unique Tile Painting Experience in the Algarve You will have the privilege of meeting a local artist who will share the techniques of traditional Portuguese tile painting, particularly the renowned 17th-century art style. With the artist's guidance, you will learn the techniques of this craft and paint your own tiles: one with a classic design and another with an original creation.

Through this activity guests will learn the brief history of the Maltese traditional tile and will have the ability to create their own tile from scratch (including the base) which they can use either as a coaster or a decorative piece, or else giving it as a small gift to their relatives back home. This is meant to create an element of interactivity and authenticity to the souvenir. The workshop is run by a professional Art teacher, and forms part of the activities run by a local non-profit organization catering for the culture and the arts.
