With this guided tour you will have the chance to see and get to know the history behind Sofia`s historical landmarks located in the center. The capital of Bulgaria has preserved heritage from different cultures and epochs- Roman, Early Christian. Ottoman, Bulgarian, Soviet. You will walk by all of the important buildings while your guide is telling you their stories. You will also enter for free the three most iconic places in Sofia- Saint Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Saint Sofia Basilica and Saint George Rotunda. This tour will also give you the chance to taste typical Bulgarian breakfast called banitsa (pastry delight, prepared from dough and cheese) and ayran (salty yogurt drink). It is a well know and very popular breakfast in Bulgaria. Youl will also have a local desert, which is different each season.

We'll begin the tour with a convenient pick-up from our office, located near the city center. From there, we'll make our way to Nina's house, located in the heart of Berat's historic castle. Upon arrival at Nina's house, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from our local host and expert cook. The cooking class will begin with a brief introduction to the dishes we'll be preparing. You'll receive all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and our expert cook will guide you through each step of the process You'll have the opportunity to prepare two or three traditional Albanian dishes, depending on your preferences and availability.
