The Sumo Tournament Experience in Tokyo with Japan Awaits is an experience at the famous Grand Sumo Tournament that occurs only three times a year in Tokyo (January, May, and September). Kimono rental shop YUI offers a vast array of kimono, ranging from easy to wear light kimono for street walks to traditionally made silk kimono for official occasions. The shop owner practices tea ceremony and will complement the experience with a short lesson on how to drink Matcha tea according to the Japanese traditions. If you are going to try on a kimono, we recommend using the photo plan. A professional photographer who is familiar with the nearby locations will accompany you and take wonderful portraits. This class will be held at the instructor's home in Musashino City,Tokyo. Located only about 30 minute train and walk from Shinjuku or Shibuya. The instructor is an experienced housewife. Let's try making Onigiri, rice balls, Japanese sweets, and Matcha,tea with the instructor. Once the cooking is done, it's lunchtime. I will also prepare miso soup, so you can enjoy the rice balls you made yourself along with it. Then, you will be able to savor the traditional Japanese sweets and tea that you made yourself.
